Thanks for this post. I haven’t ever looked at Wikipedia’s list of hobbies. That’s a really great idea.

I wanted to add a quick trick that I use for finding niche website ideas. They are not guaranteed to be evergreen, but they can be profitable nonetheless.

The following is probably the easiest and fastest technique that I’ve found for sparking ideas.

Simply go to the Google Product Search page. The url is:
http://www.google.com/products

The bottom half of the page will give you 25 terms that people are actively seeking to spend money on. Don’t see anything interesting? Just click the browser’s refresh button for a new list.

Hi Julie, I searched for a work at home position for three years. I invested starting money in two different companies and they ended up both being scams. It is tough to find a "real" company! Also, are you looking for a "job" or a company that you can "work from home" and build your own business? There is a huge difference. I have additional information about searching! Honest I KNOW how you feel I have done EVERYTHING!!! I am still waiting for a $28 dollar check in the mail and I DO NOT like to pay but I did and I am glad I did I know you can get scared off by all the scams even e-bay is starting to get hard but I found one that I really like and that works for me so here is the link check it out you never know http://www.moneymakingmaverick.com

There are no jobs as such in the online world, people make money with websites and blogs.
It takes some learning though.

First you need to educate yourself on all that’s available that you would be interested in doing. There are more ways to earn online than there stars in the sky. Well, maybe not that many but it can be over whelming.

I started by signing up for all the newsletters, mini-courses and such that I could find. You will filter throught them till you find the ones that appeal to you.

Once you find something you are interested in, you have to make a decision that will call you to action. If you can’t do this, and you only wish and talk about wanting, then you will never have what you want.
